Join Our Volunteer Staff
If you’ve got passion and a couple of hours a week to spare, or think you have a brilliant idea on how to increase awareness of the plight of the refugees, we welcome you to join our growing team of dedicated volunteers, or as we call them, Ambassadors. One of the primary strengths of HanVoice is our diversity – our Ambassadors come from all walks of life. No one is precluded from becoming an Ambassador: if you can hold a sign that says “Free North Korean Refugees” then you’re more than qualified!
All new potential Ambassadors are put through a Ambassador Training Program where we go through an education session describing the situation in North Korea and China as well as the inner workings of our organization.
After training, a new Ambassador will be able to choose which area of the organization they wish to volunteer for. Whether it’s lobbying MPs, networking with other interest groups, writing the newsletter and website, designing publications and pamphlets, researching and keeping the rest of HanVoice up to date, fundraising, training new members, or running their own project, we have a place for everyone who wants to take a more active role.
If you would like to join our staff, please e-mail us at info@hanvoice.org. Let us know a little about yourself and we’ll squeeze you in to the next training retreat!
