“Mobilizing Canadians on behalf of the North Korean people”

HanVoice encompasses the dual meaning of “han,” which in Korean means “one,” and “a sense of deploring, grief, lamentation or heart-burning.” Thus, HanVoice embodies a voice that is unified, and one that reflects the anguish that many North Koreans go through. HanVoice will stand in solidarity with those who need a voice in this world.

Current Objectives:

1. Advocate for the rights of North Korean refugees
2. Enter into dialogue with the Canadian government and other international organizations on behalf of North Korean refugees
3. Partner with other organizations working toward similar objectives
4. Assist North Koreans in Canada
